it would be very hard to bring both instruments cause of the new rules for carry on. It s an iffy thing where i could make it there with both but there is a possibility that someone somewhere could stop me and say..that fiddle has to go underneath....that would be a dilema cause i would have to put the fiddle in the seat and i would have to go underneath..yikes....so i'm looking at other options cause i do want to do the couple of fiddle lessons offered during the mando week...so we'll see..kaufmann was in nl last fall and he has offered to lend me his..might be an option but ofcourse i would rather have my own. Going to send some pics from kamp later in the week.

how's the colorodo weather and the slopes?? We are just getting winter. I was started to feel nervous for the birds who i think were thinking about nesting in december as the weather was so spring like..I think i'm gonna come week 2 and who knows maybe i can do the fiddle week next year. Have some pics to send to yu and will get around to that soon.
happy New Year
See yu in a number of months

I, of course, am quite fond of "Put a Saddle on a Star," and it's not terribly difficult, but it does have a recurring diminished chord. I may have it in PDF. If I can find it, I'll send it to you, regardless of whether that's the one we want to do.
I'm VERY pleased that you're up for it!

How's it going? I really enjoyed talking to you at Christmastime. Thank a bunch for the call. I prodded Wanda again about coming to Kamp for week 2.
Wanna play a duet at open mike? Name the tune and I'll help you work out a break. If you want to do a song, I'll sing the harmony part. With this much time to practice, I'm sure you wouldn't be at all nervous. (Yeah, right. But I am serious.)
