Thought I'd share with my Kampers that I've made some reasonable progress in my belated mission to learn flatpicking bluegrass. When I came back from SKAK in June, inspired as always by what I saw & heard, I suddenly hit a brick wall in my learnin...

I'm up for a jam......oops......just seen how far away from each other we live! Any UK pickers out there? I live near Romsey, a small town in between Southampton & Winchester. I've found a monthly Bluegrass jam in a pub in Winchester, but they're...

Don't worry about it - I always leave the aircon on during the day to cool the room then turn it off at night and use a cotton liner only

At least the temperature for the week doesn't look so bad....highs in the mid-upper 80s and lows in the lower 70s. Pretty ideal considering what it could be this time of year haha.....like everyone else I'm just hoping that the buildings aren't TO...

Thanks Guy -- it was a pleasure to meet you and your son! As you probably know, my youngest brother Will lives in Hebden Bridge, which I guess would be several hours north of you. I'm hoping to get back over to se him sometime, but I suspect it'll be a couple of years at best.
Take care!
Mike

Hi Guy
We have had to change our plans for this year. Rob is moving on to middle school next year and school band camp is the same week as Kamp so we have decided to pass on guitar Kamp this year. It may be possible for us to come up for the Saturday concerts at the end of your week. I will keep you posted. It was good to hear from you and hope you both have as much fun as we did last year.
Hope to see you soon,
Doug McCormac
