Happy New Year, Elizabeth!
My New Years Resolution is to learn 20 new fiddle tunes this year. My boyfriend gave me a really cute Gretsch Americana Series small guitar (he wants to get all four and use them for wall art) - but it is really cute and sounds good - I could use it for my office guitar. It is the "Showdown" one, the one I liked the best cause of the vulture on it. Anyways, Happy New Year to you.

Profile Information

Have you attended Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamp in the past? If so what years?
2001, 2008
What instruments do you play?
mandolin, guitar, little bit of fiddle
What are some of your fondest memories of Kamp?
Picking in the lobby at Carnegie, hanging out with the Holmes-Rays and Jarvises and Irwins, listening to the jams in Connie Ottway's suite this past year, mealtimes, Keith Yoder's tribute to his dad, Mark and Robin and a Kamper whose name has slipped my memory playing out on the steps for hours, Rolly and Stephen Bennett playing by the Kamp store, hanging out discussing music and life with my roomie Anita...too many moments to mention
Who would you like to see teaching at Kamp?
My favorites so far have been Mitch Corbin, Kathy Barwick, Rolly Brown, Chris Newman, Mark Cosgrove, Stephen Bennett, and Steve Kaufman hisownself.... I've heard great things about Steve Kilby, and Robin Kessinger puts on a great workshop. As for completely new folks, I'd have to think about that.
