It was GREAT to see you at Kamp! Thanks so much for throwing "The Dutchman" up on the youTube channel!
Enjoy being a young married lady and best regards,
Mike
Just signed up for the first week at Kamp. Brother is not going. It's his loss. I'm getting anxious for lots of fun.
Rich
There's more to go with that one tune. I did an album back in 92 with another local musician here in Louisville. We had some good help in the studio and I've never done a project like that since. The tunes are all written by myself and Michael McGrath, a friend of mine here in Louisville. I thought that tune was very "Don Williamslike". I'll put another one up from the album "There goes my Heart gain" that has, to my ear, a sort of early Paul Simon tint to it. It's called "The Vision" and one called "Climb With ME" that seems John Denverish. (maybe I never developed a "Dale" sound???
Hey Cheer up,
A) It's Christmas
B) I'll see you at Kamp in just a few months when it's warmer
(would be AWFUL out in front of Carnegie right now!)
and C) the Lord knows how to take care of saints so grieve for a lost friend, but don't grieve TOO hard or TOO bitterly hard over him. He's in good Hands.
I'm looking forward to working with you again, too! I will especially appreciate your insights since my wife and I are raising my 5-year-old ADHD grandson. Guess our lives were just too boring...
Take care -- keep fighting the good fight and picking the good notes.
I thougth of you a couple weeks ago when I was pickin' by chance with Laura Boosinger at a local old time jam. We are going to Clifftop this year.
Hope to see you at Kamp 09. I'm probably a week 1 Kamper this time (Gotta see Crary!) Maybe we'll get a chance to pick a few?
Dale:)
That's a pretty darn nice photo on DiDa's page...
David
