Profile Information

Have you attended Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamp in the past? If so what years?
I think this will be my sixth or so year teaching in '09.
What instruments do you play?
Banjo, bass, guitar, fiddle (kinda--enough to teach you 101 students!!), mando (a little).
What are some of your fondest memories of Kamp?
The people: Tony McManus, Beppe Gambetta and Freddie, Carlo Aonzo, Bruce Molsky, Cathy and Marcy, my Mom (Murphy), Don Steirnberg. The post-concert gatherings at TGI Friday's. Good times.
Who would you like to see teaching at Kamp?
Me :)

You can learn this list through Steve Kaufman’s Four Hour Bluegrass Work-Out Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 . Also Steve Kaufman’s 4 Hour Banjo Work-Out and Celtic Work-Out. Each Work-Out set is a large Book with 4 CDs. 50 Songs each book played three times slow then three times fast. Practice with Steve’s band!
