Say Billy,

If you don't mind, I am curious to know what your winning bid was for the GA-70? (I put a lot of thought into the design of that instrument and I would love to know what you gave for it?) Email me at my profile here of post a comment to my wall.

Congrats again on picking up that special guitar,
Dale:)

Wow! That's really cool. Did you get it from Stephen? I am primarily into flatpicking these days and that guitar, (which I had custom built for fingerstyle) was the sweetest sounding fingerpicker I ever played. However, after the fact, I discovered that what I REALLY needed was more of a hybrid flatpick/fingerstyle instrument, and I had a hard time connecting with that particular instrument with the flatpick. (Maybe something to do with the shorter scale?)

I'm really glad it has found a home with a picker who loves it.

And what a gorgeous set of mahogany for the back and sides too!

I have a 71 special rosewood Gallagher in its place at this point. You can see pics at the Gallagher owners forum here at acoustickamp.ning (Which you seriously need to join!)

Dale:)
