The Doc was bought from Allen Shad who won it at the Merlefest contest. It's a very powerful guitar. I was lucky to get it.
The 71 Special I got last Summer and drove to Wartrace to meet Stephen and Don for the first time. They were incredibly hospitable and I will always remember that trip as a special one for me musically. I got to play Ol Hoss and pick out an amazing guitar; meet Don and the "next generation" in Stephen his son. Awesome guitars. Unprecedented customer service.
